Capitalise partners with Enterprise Nation to empower small businesses with financial support
Capitalise, the business finance platform, have announced a partnership with the small business support network Enterprise Nation, that will deliver a pioneering finance hub, giving small businesses access to finance and strategic support in one place.
The hub will deliver access to business credit scores, access to finance and strategic online workshops and e-learning in a bid to improve the financial knowledge of the UK’s small business community.
Capitalise was established in 2016 to give small businesses and their advisers transparency and control over their business finance all in one place. Now, with the context of the pandemic, Capitalise recognised that business finance is more crucial than ever, and this alliance marks a proactive step to improving accessibility for small businesses in the UK.
News of the alliance also follows research which found nearly two thirds of small businesses say they need to take on finance to fund vital expansion in 2022. This is based on research commissioned by Capitalise which will be released in full in a major report in the last week of January 2022.
Paul Surtees, CEO and co-founder at Capitalise commented: “At Capitalise, our vision is to give small businesses and their advisers transparency and control over business finance, in one place. Our partnership with Enterprise Nation is built around the principle of giving every business an equal chance of success by increasing financial understanding in the small business community. With access to over 100 business lenders, our aim is to help them build a healthier business.”
Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Capitalise, who are doing exciting work to give small businesses and their advisers transparency and control over business finance. Our partnership with Capitalise to deliver independent funding support and advice in one place comes just at the right time, and we will work closely to ensure businesses have the means to access the funding they need to take advantage of the opportunities on offer in 2022.”
