Get up to speed as an individual, team or organisation with an intensive five-day free qualification that will help you to adopt standard processes and workflows through the development of new skills and advanced knowledge.
The BIM Academy supports offering digital skills training to those who have a passion for new technology and want to understand more about how this is applied across the construction sector.
Diane Hender completed the course recently and comments:
“I really enjoyed the course and think I benefitted from attending. I wanted to participate because I was very new to ISO19650 and BIM and I am focused on building my knowledge in an effort to deliver the best possible service in my job role.
“The benefits for my role are huge. I am able to understand the reasoning behind using BIM in construction and I am better able to guide colleagues into following the principles of ISO19650. I cannot recommend highly enough that colleagues do this course. I have shared with many what I have gained from attending and believe everyone within our organisation should have this knowledge to help us work smarter.”
Andrew Simpson, NEIoT Digital Construction Project/Programme Development Lead, from New College Durham, comments:
“The course has been designed in partnership with local employers and professional bodies to ensure it meets the needs of the construction industry. The programme provides a full overview of the requirements to be BIM compliant, whilst achieving additional design software skills. It’s a fantastic way to upskill yourself or your team.”
