Experienced operations director joins leadership team at HR2day
An operations director with more than 25 years’ experience has joined the senior leadership team at Darlington firm HR2day.
Claire Beckett has previously worked across a range of roles in corporate telecoms and SME oil and gas.
During her career, which has included debt recovery, team and office management, and acting as a PA to corporate directors, Claire has developed a strong background in operations management, finance, quality systems, HSE and team performance and management.
Before joining HR2day, she was one of its clients, and became so engaged with the firm’s ethos that she decided she wanted to join the team.
Claire said: “I was a previous client of HR2day and joined the company because I loved the brand ethos. What Nicky is trying to deliver to the market and how we help SMEs of various sizes build relationships with their employees fosters consistency and compliance, and makes things easier for businesses during their growth without the cost and worry of the HR element.
“My approach to work is you need to have clear, transparent processes and procedures to build solid foundations if you want to grow a business.”
Outside the office, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and keeping fit.
She said: “I am a nana to five grandchildren - we are a blended family with 4 grown up children so this keeps us busy.
“I love to be active, and enjoy cycling, running, going to the gym and also do a spot of Chi Chi Fit (musical theatre fitness) at our local village hall.
“I have a dog and I love to unwind with a good murder mystery and a bottle of wine with my husband.”
Nicky Jolley, managing director of HR2day, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Claire to the team to lead our day-to-day operations. She’s a safe pair of hands and very capable, and she’ll be an asset to our organisation.”
