Digits named Potential Challenger in the 2022 Fosway 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems

For the third successive year, Digits has been recognised as a Potential Challenger by leading EMEA HR analyst Fosway Group in its 2022 Fosway 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems.

Since joining the CIPHR Group in 2020, Digits has continued to bolster its position within the growing online learning market as one of Europe’s leading learning management systems providers. Its new position – in the centre of Fosway’s Potential Challenger zone – reflects Digits’ investment in the functionality and support of its learning management solution, which continues to meet the increasing demands of mid to enterprise-size organisations with a hybrid workforce.

Digits has long been the LMS of choice for a host of well-known mid to large enterprises, including some of the world’s biggest automotive and retail brands. Its new customer wins in 2021 include Bensons for Beds, Bunzl and Carpetright, among others. Its bespoke, accessible-anywhere learning content enables organisations to deliver highly personalised and effective learning experiences to all employees – whether they are based in a workplace, on the road or are working from home.

Matt Russell, chief commercial officer at CIPHR Group, says: “We are delighted with Fosway’s recognition of Digits as a Potential Challenger for Learning Systems. Digits LMS offers a flexible learning platform that can be tailored to meet the unique, sometimes complex, requirements of large organisations, in any industry. Its innovative capabilities, such as bitesize interactive learning activities, engaging visual learning pathways, gamified learning, and skills analysis tools that can suggest learning content, help L&D teams provide vital training to their employees, wherever they are in their career journey.”

“Digits has consolidated its position as a Potential Challenger on the 2022 Fosway 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems by delivering product features that really meet the needs of its customers,” said David Wilson, CEO, Fosway Group. “Investment from parent company, CIPHR, is also providing an additional focus on innovation and growth for the year ahead.”

The Fosway 9-Grid™ is a multi-dimensional model that can be used to understand the relative position of solutions and providers in the UK and European markets. Solutions are assessed on five factors: performance, potential, market presence, total cost of ownership (TCO), and future trajectory across the market.

Fosway’s latest report highlights the continuing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the online learning market in 2022, stating, “Our 2020 research showed that for 95% of organisations learning would not return to how it was before the pandemic. This is now a reality for organisations as they transition all learning to work effectively with a remote or hybrid workforce”. It goes on to suggest that one of the big challenges ahead for many organisations is ensuring that their workplace learning doesn’t exclude remote workers and is accessible to all – something that Digits has championed and enabled for over three decades.

Digits’ sister company CIPHR, a leading UK provider of SaaS HR, payroll, recruitment and learning solutions, also features in Fosway’s 9-Grid™ for Cloud HR.
