OVO Spaces completes Bakewell showroom fit-out for Criterium Cycles

AWARD winning Sheffield commercial interior design and fit-out specialist OVO Spaces has completed work on a new Peak District showroom for Criterium Cycles.

Criterium Cycles was established in Edinburgh in 2013 by brothers Paul and Richard Bowker.

The company, a finalist for UK’s best independent bike shop five years in a row, is a leading Trek Partner store and stocks their full range including electric bikes together with a wide selection of accessories, parts and tools from some of the world’s leading cycle brands.

Now the company has come to the famous Peak District town of Bakewell, with the launch of an e-commerce facility as well as distribution hub for the Criterium Cycles’ highly successful national home distribution service.

The facility also includes a state of the art customer showroom at the Riverside Business Park.

And work on converting and preparing the unit for opening was carried out by the team at OVO Spaces.

“We were delighted to be working on a project that brings such an exciting and respected industry name to the Peak District,” said OVO Spaces Managing Director Rebecca Knight.

“We have created a space that shows off the full Criterium range at its very best and we look forward to developing our working relationship with Richard and Paul as their brand expands.”

“The project was completed on time and without any hitch. We are thrilled with the end result and know our customers will be too.”

OVO Spaces was named Sheffield’s Leading Interior Design and Fit Out Specialists at the Build Magazine 2021 Build and Design Awards.

The team is currently working on projects for a wide range of leading companies, providing concept to conclusion building transformations for customers in the commercial, industrial, hospitality and leisure sectors.

Recent clients include Unihomes, Ceratizit, Great Places, Shelter, New Era Developments and multiple projects completed in local landmarks at the acclaimed Park Hill Commercial Units in Sheffield and on the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham.
