RED Construction South West, part of RED Construction Group, has announced the appointment of Robert Brooks as Pre-Construction Director. Robert joins the senior management team, led by Managing Director, Derek Quinn, to build on its significant regional success.
Bristol-based RED Construction South West offers unparalleled regional expertise and market knowledge in construction. The company works with leading clients across several sectors throughout the South West.
With almost 30 years’ construction, design, and management experience, Robert Brooks joins the team to lead the Pre-Construction department, creating and driving opportunities for regional business expansion. Robert is recognised as one of the industry’s highest energies and most enthusiastic problem solvers by many of his peers and clients. He has worked on several nationally renowned schemes, including the £60m redevelopment of the iconic Brent Cross Shopping Centre and the £50m Madejski Stadium. Since moving to the South West in 2001, he has delivered landmark projects within all sectors, collaborating with clients creating long-lasting relationships.
Derek Quinn, Managing Director of RED Construction South West, commented: “Robert is a tremendous addition to RED Construction South West’s senior management team. His personality, passion and energy match our culture perfectly, while his experience, professionalism and track record will be highly prized by clients and partners alike. He also joins at an exciting time for the business as we continue to grow and deliver across the South West region.”
Robert Brooks, Pre-Construction Director, RED Construction South West, added: “Working in this industry has taught me relationships and people are what matters. Consequently, I wanted my next role to be strongly relationship-focused while also allowing me to add value to a high growth, high energy and high-quality company. RED Construction South West provides all that, and I am very excited to build on the team’s already impressive momentum.”
The appointment of Robert Brooks is the third senior hire for RED Construction South West, following Grant Millar and James Devey as Operations and Commercial Director, respectively, last October. In addition, the company moved into new offices last September, taking a prime position in the Print Hall & Unity Street development, which forms part of the 2.4m sq ft Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone.
