Fresh Hires for High End in Hotels and Restaurants and Optimism Grows

With some optimism returning to the hospitality sector and 7 out of 10 workers intending to stay, workers are seizing new opportunities. Hot on the heels of placing five new staff into senior roles at some of the UK’s most prestigious hotels and restaurants last month, this month specialist restaurant industry recruiter, Ginger Hospitality has already secured roles for two bright young talents.

Seaham Hall, near Durham, is the luxurious former marital home of Lord Byron and a favourite of Tatler magazine. It welcomes Stuart Skinner as Chef de Partie, working into a team managed by Exec Chef Damian Broom.

Meanwhile, Wales-based award-winning Seren Collection, whose portfolio includes the five-star hotel, Grove of Narberth, and Michelin-starred Beach House Restaurant, boosts its brilliant team with sommelier Abigail Tyrrill.

Angela Byrne, Ginger Hospitality founder said: “We’re proud to help the hospitality sector as it strives to bounce back better. There is more of a breeze of optimism coming back into the sector, but there’s definitely a battle for talent. So great restaurants and hotels benefit more than ever from working with experienced specialists like us to find them the best talent.”
