Hospitality platform launches accredited coaching courses
A London headquartered global hospitality platform has now launched accredited coaching and mentoring CPD courses.
The courses are free to those working in Hospitality within London. Matched through Otolo’s bespoke algorithm you can put your areas of interest for learning in, as well as your function to be paired with a mentor who has been on a similar journey previously.
Rolled out over 6-months there are a limited number of places for Level 2 Career Pathways and Level 3 Early Leadership for those who want to snap them up whilst they are fully funded and backed by the government.
The fast-growing team headed up by industry professionals from British Airways, Various Eateries, IHG and others have already got mentors from some of the industry’s biggest groups and names including Hyatt, Accor, Marriott International, Tip Hospitality, Expedia, Selina, Too Good To Go, IHG and many more.
“Hospitality Skills and Career Pathways” (Level 2 CPD-accredited): for hospitality starters to unlock their curiosity and various career pathways within hospitality. Key areas: customer experience, brand awareness, conflict resolution, building resilience, understanding communication across teams
“Hospitality Leadership and Professional Development” (Level 3 CPD-accredited): for aspiring leaders and managers to develop their confidence in managing different personalities and exploring their personal values. Key areas: team performance, diversity and inclusion, understanding your values and management styles as a leader.
To give back to London front-line workers who have been affected the most, Otolo has also partnered with TIP Hospitality founders, Martijn and Monika Mulder. Participants who sign up for the courses will be offered a year’s worth of hospitality perks and discounts while receiving the support they need in progressing their careers.
James Lemon, Founder and CEO, says: “We are incredibly excited to have won a grant and grateful for the opportunity it gives us to help the industry recover and thrive, giving back to thousands of people.
“Being recognised by the government and European Social Fund helps us play a bigger role in building the future of hospitality, so we’re going to keep on innovating in the way hospitality people learn, the way employers develop their people, and the reputation of the industry as an amazing career and sector to work in.
“It’s going to be a really exciting 2022 building out our teams and our new technology. That and making sure we have a positive social impact, while also building a strong and sustainable business.”
