Dartford Care Home, Haslington Lodge Care Home, completes its investment in a total garden transformation to make the perfect outside space for those who enjoy gardens.
Just in time for Spring, work sees investment put to good use to benefit the quality of life for care homes residents. Those who call Haslington Lodge their home can now benefit from alfresco dining and socialising in a safe and private oasis where individuals can come and go as they please whilst sitting in the sunshine and taking in the fresh air.
The now beautiful landscaped gardens feature a long wide curved decked area surrounded by leafy boarder providing easy access for those with limited mobility. Also a brand new lawn and terrace area is a secluded spot surrounded by high terraced boarders, ideal for lounging and sitting enjoy the sunnier weather.
Rachel Lucas, Acting Manager at Haslington Lodge Care Home says: “This impressive transformation would have given the BBC garden makeover team a run for their money! It’s simply amazing to see the difference. We love our new garden. We’ve created the perfect spot for taking full advantage of our outside space, and hopefully the better weather to come will make sure we enjoy it the fullest.
