Leeds based laser treatment brand invests £560k in first UK clinic with plans to create 70 jobs
A new name in aesthetic laser treatments, Élan Laser Clinics, has made a £559k investment in its first clinic in the UK, initially creating six jobs.
Located in Leeds, it provides a range of personalised laser and skin treatments combining the “latest medical grade technology with a luxury spa-like experience”.
The 1,500sq ft retail premises at The Springs, Thorpe Park, has undergone a £156k transformation to create five treatment rooms as well as a reception and a retail area.
The new clinic offers a range of laser treatments from laser hair removal and tattoo removal to facials, skin rejuvenation, fat freezing and body contouring. Unusually, it features a choice of state-of-the-art laser devices from leading brands including Candela and Alma.
The new Leeds Élan Laser Clinic is inviting clients to come along and celebrate at a grand opening event on Thursday 31st March 6pm-8pm.
Clinic manager, Shea Rowan, commented: “The Élan concept centres on making the most advanced skin treatment technology available to everyone by creating a trusted and affordable brand.
“While most clinics only have a single laser machine, we are able to offer a truly personalised skin treatment service as our skilled therapists can choose which of our laser devices is best suited to the client.”
The new business, headed up by industry veteran Anna McCartney as founder and CEO, launched last month following a multi-million pound investment from international investors. Headquartered in Leeds, it is initially targeting the opening of ten clinics across the UK by the end of 2022, creating around 70 jobs.
Anna McCartney added: “It is genuinely exciting to see how well the Élan concept is being received in the UK. Our inaugural clinic in New South Wales, Australia, which opened last October has also got off to a flying start and we’re looking forward to rolling out a number of clinics in both countries in the coming months.
“After working in the health and beauty industry for almost 20 years, I believe there is a real gap in the market for a reputable modern clinic brand, consistently offering the very latest technology, highly trained therapists and a spa-like environment.”
