Cheshire Businessman Launches Latest Book Encouraging People to Really Live
Cheshire businessman, Andrew Morgan, has unveiled his latest book – ‘It’s time to really live’ and is looking to secure a publisher.
Andrew Morgan, co-founder of a successful Cheshire-based financial planning business, was inspired to write ‘It’s time to really live’ as a useful tool for his clients following the multiple lockdowns during the Coronavirus pandemic but has since been inspired to share his thoughts as alternative ‘bucket list’ for people post-lockdown.
This is the third book for businessman Andrew Morgan, who’s also an investor in global design and motion company, Ben Wild Studios, but the first non-fiction title within his portfolio.
Speaking about his latest book Andrew said: “Lockdown presented many of us a time to really reflect on our life – things we have done and achieved but also – ideas of trips to take, hobbies to start and even friends we should meet up with again.
“I’ve spent so much of my career talking to clients about plans for their retirement, but those conversations started to change and focus on ‘post lockdown’ and building them in to post retirement. So, I reached out to my clients and asked them for their ‘bucket list’ ideas and collated them into this simple guide.”
Within the book there’s 300 ideas of things to do as well as a useful guide on how someone should start the process of planning their own adventures.
‘We’re NOT having a dog’, Andrew’s second book has been described as a cross between the real-life British version of ‘Marley & Me’ and ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ – following the enchanting story of Andrew and his family’s poignant, and often hilarious, journey of considering and almost inevitable decision of getting a family pet.
‘Hollyana’ was Andrew’s first foray into writing. The children’s fiction book is a female-led adventure story set in medieval times and was inspired by the bedtime stories he lovingly created for his daughter Holly when she was a little girl.
While Hollyana, which is beautifully illustrated by Ben Wild Studios, has been successfully self-published and currently available on Amazon, the author is appealing to publishing houses and literary agents with a view to support conversations to have both fiction books turned into screen adaptations.
