House builder begins rural North East development ‘Ryton time’

Work is underway by house builder Edinburgh based Miller Homes to create a new rural community of 97 homes on Woodside Lane in Ryton.

The development, known as Willows Edge, will offer a mix of three, four and five-bedroom homes. These include some of Miller Homes’ brand-new house styles which have been designed to meet an evolving need for a living space that is multi-functional, with more of a focus on areas for home working and open plan family accommodation.

New homes are being offered in a range of new Miller Homes house types, including the 5-bedroom Hopkin and the four-bedroom Cunningham and Denham properties. The development is nestled between untouched woodland and Newcastle City Centre, with easy access to local amenities and a range of OFSTED rated ‘Good’ schools.

Aisling Ramshaw, sales director at Miller Homes North East, commented: “Ryton is a vibrant community and we are pleased to be investing in the local area to benefit everyone living there, including our future home buyers.

“Our popular Stephenson Meadows development in Callerton, which is less than 7 miles away, offers a mix of three, four and five-bedroom homes from £214,950 and just like Stepheson Meadows, Willows Edge offers all of the benefits of modern rural community living.

“Construction is due to start this month and we are looking forward to seeing the development come to life, we will be releasing the first home for sale in summer this year.”
