New phase of homes coming to popular Northumberland development

Miller Homes has announced the second phase of construction at its popular Longridge Farm development, adding to the 165 new homes in the already popular Northumberland community.

The first phase of Longridge Farm, located on Choppington Road in Bedlington, has already successfully seen more than 40 keen buyers move into new homes and is currently 60 per cent sold.

The new homes on the development will be a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties including three of Miller Homes popular house styles; the Thetford, Baywood and Maplewood.

Surrounded by fields and open countryside, Longridge Farm combines “modern, energy efficient design with a timeless charm”. It is situated less than 12 miles from the centre of Newcastle and less than four miles from the seaside attractions of Blyth.

Aisling Ramshaw, sales director for Miller Homes North East said: “Longridge Farm has been incredibly popular so far and securing approval for phase two of the development is fantastic news for local residents and house hunters from the region looking to secure a new home.

“Over the past 12 months we have seen an increase in interest in our more rural developments across the region, as some home movers have reassessed their priorities and would like to live in a countryside location with access to open spaces.

“This development offers the best of both worlds as it’s really well located and has a number of close amenities ideal for couples and families, with access to key roads for commuters. It’s around a 10-minute walk to the town centre and a short drive from the popular Plessey Woods Country Park, which is a great setting for a walk in the fresh air.”
