Bournemouth housebuilder’s Easter ‘egg-stravaganza’ for local schoolchildren
Barratt Homes gave schoolchildren in Bournemouth an egg-stra special delivery this week.
The Easter bunny took on a slightly different form as the five-star housebuilder donated 250 chocolate eggs – one for each pupil at Bearwood Primary and Nursery School on Barons Road, Bournemouth, as they prepare for the Easter break.
The school’s headteacher, Laura Bennett, said: “As the children get ready for two weeks off, this has been a wonderful Easter surprise. Barratt Homes continue to support our school and we’re very grateful for this special donation. The children’s smiles say it all.”
Anthony Dimmick, Barratt Homes Community Liaison Manager, is thrilled that the housebuilder has been able to step in this Easter.
He said: “We are committed to helping the communities we develop in, and what better way to show local children our support, than with their very own chocolate surprise.
“And, with 250 eggs delivered in total, the Easter bunny has been kept very busy here.”
Barratt Homes has offered help to a number of local schools and organisations which improve the quality of life of those living in the region, including as part of the Barratt Homes Community Fund.
