Online raffle business Cloverhut unveils charity partnership to raise vital funds for Habitat for Humanity GB

Cloverhut, a fast-growing online raffle business that prides itself on 100% transparency, has formed a new partnership with one of the world’s largest housing charities, Habitat for Humanity GB, to help raise vital donations through impactful digital fundraising events.

The UK-based sister brand of Spain’s leading house raffle provider, Se Sortea, Cloverhut has delivered a series of digital raffles since inception, recognising the valuable role its model can play in providing consistent fundraising to support individuals and communities that need it most.

The business is now focused on building the future of online fundraising for charity partners and has pledged 80% of its annual profits to good causes.

Established in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has built over 1.3 million homes and supported more than 20 million people across 70 countries worldwide.

In securing Habitat for Humanity GB as its first charity partner, Cloverhut will now focus on helping to fund its charitable initiatives, such as developing housing for vulnerable communities in the UK, through to supporting the Charity’s Ukraine crisis response, by raising unrestricted income via recurring donations through its online fundraising events – from travel and cash prizes to exciting house raffles.

This announcement comes as Cloverhut provides the chance for one lucky individual to win a dream holiday home worth €125,000 in the popular Spanish resort of Murcia.

Located on the seafront, the two-bedroom holiday home comes fully furnished with access to a stunning community pool. The raffle closes on 30th September 2022, with individual entries costing just £2.

Sascha Badelt, managing director of Cloverhut, and founder of Spain’s largest national lottery reseller, confirmed:

“Small and medium-sized charities are struggling to fundraise in an increasingly digital environment, and particularly during current economically challenging times. As experts in creating engaging digital fundraising events, we recognise the valuable financial support we can deliver to charities and have, therefore, switched 100% of our focus to helping raise awareness of vital causes, whilst providing stable, recurring donations by pledging 80% of our annual profits.

“We are delighted to have established a new partnership with such an incredible cause as Habitat for Humanity GB and look forward to supporting its charitable initiatives worldwide through our fundraising raffles and events – starting with this incredible dream holiday home in Murcia, Spain.”

With extensive experience working with charity partners across Spain, Germany, and the UK, Cloverhut is on a mission to become a market leader in generating donations for good causes worldwide over the next five years.

Tessa Kelly, Director of Development for Habitat for Humanity, added: “With partners such as Cloverhut, we can make a far bigger impact than we could by acting alone. We are so excited to have Cloverhut’s support and by entering their house draw, you have a chance to win a great prize and raise vital funds to support Habitat for Humanity Great Britain’s projects around the world.”
