Female entrepreneurs invited to attend ‘Fuelling Ambition Conference’ in London

Female entrepreneurs are invited to take part in this year’s ‘Fuelling Ambition Conference’ organised by Newable, the leading provider of money, advice and space to SMEs.

Despite pandemic-driven setbacks, entrepreneurship flourished through COVID-19, with small business owners demonstrating innovation and resilience. It also fuelled a fresh wave of female entrepreneurs. Newable has supported over 2,000 businesses, run by female entrepreneurs or majority owned by women, over the last two years.

This event will look to bring together 150 ambitious business owners, to discuss a host of topics geared towards building momentum for accelerated growth in 2022 and beyond.

The event will take place on April 27 at The Insurance Hall in the heart of the City, Newable’s latest event space. The building was once home to the UK insurance sector for over 80 years. The space is steeped in history and architectural significance and offers businesses room for receptions, AGMs, seminars and meetings.

In the free-to-attend event, Newable has joined forces with Innovate UK EDGE, with support from JPMorgan Chase, to hear the latest insights and practical advice from inspirational leaders and business experts to reconnect, renew and relaunch business growth.

Topics will include transformation, finance and investment, purpose, people and collaboration, society and environment and digital marketing.

Host, Bolaji Sofoluwe, managing director of ETK Group, will be joined by keynote speakers Dame Inga Beale, business woman and former CEO of Lloyd’s of London, Chrissie Rucker OBE founder of The White Company and Gold Patron of The Prince’s Trust, along with Vanessa Vallely OBE, managing director of WeAreTheCity.

Ciara Fitzgerald, head of innovation and business advice, comments: “This conference will bring inspiring female entrepreneurs together for networking and to accelerate business growth. We are here to support businesses from across the UK and our partner intermediaries play a key role in this.

“Particularly amidst the backdrop of the last few years, there is an increasing need for businesses to access funding and advice to support them in repositioning and restructuring their businesses, for recovery, growth and long term success.”
