Build commences on new home development in Halifax
Yorkshire builder Erris Homes has commenced work on a new housing development in Greetland, Halifax.
The new development, named Calder Mews, sits on the site of the former Holly Bank Works factory, and will comprise three, four and five-bedroom family homes. These contemporary homes will offer customers an exemplary specification as standard including stylish fitted kitchens and designer bathrooms.
The development will also present potential buyers with the option of purchasing a home from Erris Homes’ ‘Excellence Collection’, which features larger homes with enhanced specifications.
Michael Howard, CEO at Erris Homes, said, “We are very excited to have put our spade into the ground at Calder Mews. Following a series of successful developments across Yorkshire, we are looking forward to bringing a thriving new community to Calderdale.
“We are confident that our high quality and energy efficient specification will establish a new standard of living for homeowners in Greetland.”
Andrew Gawthorpe, managing director at Erris Homes, said, “Calder Mews is the latest development in our growing portfolio as an independent Yorkshire housebuilder, and we are confident that our network of excellent local craftspeople, subcontractors, and suppliers can support our ambitions for this site.”
Leeds-based contractor Howard Civil Engineering is currently on-site undertaking groundworks and site clearance operations. Erris Homes expects to release the first homes for sale at Calder Mews in the coming month
