Natwest and the Royal Bank of Scotland partner with VaynerMedia London to launch the Business Show podcast

NatWest and The Royal Bank of Scotland have partnered with VaynerMedia London to launch a brand-new podcast series called The Business Show, launching today.

The series will aim to provide listeners with “today’s insights for tomorrow’s challenges” whether they’re an aspiring start-up, savvy small business, or established enterprise.

Well known television and radio presenter, Angelica Bell, will host six ‘hero’ episodes each fortnight, speaking to successful entrepreneurs and leaders to find out how they’ve overcome obstacles and grown thriving businesses. Topics discussed include sustainability, customer retention in a cost-of-living crisis and recruitment challenges alongside several others.

The week after each hero episode, The Business Show Extra will be released, exploring key themes in more detail alongside additional guests. The Extra show will be hosted by Holly Mackay, founder and managing director of Boring Money, and Eshita Kabra-Davies, founder and CEO of fashion rental app, By Rotation.

In addition to Ella Mills, other guests for the rest of the series include: Alex Depledge MBE, Akash Mehta, Laura Southern, Adnan Ebrahim, and Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon with many more to come.

Commenting on the launch, Margaret Jobling, Chief Marketing Officer at NatWest said: “We are very excited to be launching this new series and are thrilled that such an inspiring variety of business leaders took the time to speak to our hosts. The modern environment in which to launch and grow a business comes with a range of complex challenges and we wanted to create an engaging platform to provide them with useful insight and inspiration for taking action with confidence. We are delighted with the final content and look forward to sharing with our listeners.”

Sarah Baumann, Managing Director at VaynerMedia London, added: “It has been a pleasure to continue working with NatWest and The Royal Bank of Scotland on their podcast content and help them connect with a wider audience. Content like this is crucial to develop a presence whether you’re a bank or a different kind of brand altogether. It helps you reach people in a time and space in which you have their full attention and interest, providing a better connection and stepping away from the noise of more broadly targeted ads.”

The Business Show Podcast follows the launch of NatWest’s Green Business Builders podcast last year, the UK’s first carbon neutral podcast.

The Business Show and Business Show Extra was produced with VaynerMedia, will run for 12 episodes from 24 May until 2 August, and is available on Spotify and all major podcast platforms from today.
