Multiverse entertainment platform announces first artists to join alongside NFT auction
VRJAM, a London based “multiverse” platform for live entertainment, has unveiled the first artists to join its Creator Guild.
VRJAM will offer live virtual reality and interactive content across streaming platforms, websites, VR and mobile devices powered by blockchain technology.
The Creator Guild, a community of premium content creators, will be composed of artists, gamers, labels and performers who will create “next generation digital and immersive experiences” within the VRJAM virtual world. These will include concerts, live entertainment events, performances and much more.
The platform will offer a host of new solutions to commercialise their music and live shows through unique premium fan experiences and the use of NFTs, of which the entertainment industry can take advantage.
The first names to join the Creator Guild include “world-class” DJs and producers such as; Junior Sanchez, Darren Styles, UMEK, Gammer, Roger Sanchez, Bushwacka, J. Worra, DJ Sneak, Audiofly, Stanton Warriors, Yogetsu Akasaka, Sydney Blu, DJ Colette and DJ Eliza May.
To kick off a series of events planned in the coming months, as well as its official launch, the first performance inside the VRJAM platform was performed on May 26 by house music pioneer, DJ Junior Sanchez for a live audience of VIP guests in New York and London.
To mark the success of this event and celebrate the milestone of the first ever NFT to be created inside the multiverse space, an NFT auction is planned to take place next week.
VRJAM has partnered with NFT platform, Binance NFT, to auction the sale of its first NFT, a 3D rendering of Junior Sanchez’s avatar from the live event that can be used as player skin in the VRJAM world. The NFT can also be ‘rented’ in VRJAM’s virtual world to generate cash rewards.
The NFT auction marks the beginning of an ongoing collaboration with Binance NFT to bring new kinds of NFT products to market.
Junior Sanchez, DJ & producer, commented: “I’m extremely excited to be partnering with VRJAM; Web3 is without a doubt the next great frontier for artists of all forms, creators, and labels, to build great communities, create unique offerings for their users and change the way we navigate the future online.”
Jonas Tempel, co-founder of Beatport, and member of VRJAM’s Advisory Board, added: “I’ve always had a very optimistic view of technology and its ability to change cultures at scale. The VRJAM vision boldly pushes towards what a true ‘omniverse’ will look like and joins the band of new platforms pushing into Web3 thinking.”
