Tees Valley Business Summit returns this Thursday to help local firms connect and grow
Hundreds of local businesses are set to attend Teesside’s largest business event this Thursday 7th July.
The Tees Valley Business Summit will take place at Teesside University Students’ Union, enabling ambitious companies to meet with new suppliers and potential customers.
Delivered by UMi, this year marks the first time since 2019 that the summit will be able to take place in person, giving the region’s business community an opportunity to come together and discuss the new economic landscape.
Free to attend for delegates, this year’s event expects to see more than 600 visitors descend on Teesside University to learn new skills and take part in a series of seminars and workshops. There will also be sold out exhibition, packed with a variety of local exhibitors showcasing their products, services and support.
Representatives from Tees Valley Combined Authority will be providing updates on some of the most exciting developments reshaping the region’s economy and explaining how local businesses can get involved.
This will include an appearance from Tees Valley Mayor, Ben Houchen who will be presenting alongside global offshore wind manufacturer SeAH Wind to host an afternoon seminar session.
Ben Houchen said: “Tees Valley Business Summit is always one of the highlights in the calendar for our brilliant local companies and now we can meet in person once again, I’m sure all the delegates will be even more excited to come together, network, make new connections and renew old ones.
“With Teesworks, the Teesside Freeport, our ever-growing low-carbon sector and investments big and small right across Teesside, Darlington and Hartlepool, we’re facing unparalleled opportunity for our economy, region and firms. I’d urge all businesses to exhibit or come along to see how they can play their part in our success.”
