London-based healthcare company receives £6.9m funding from HSBC
London-based healthcare company, Osbon Pharmacy Group, has received a £6.9m funding package from HSBC UK to support its mergers and acquisitions activity.
Established in 2005, Osbon Pharmacy Group has nine pharmacies around London and another 17 family-owned pharmacies across the South East England. The company, which prides itself on delivering personal and dedicated services to customers, offers a complete range of medicines and prescription services - from help and advice to prescription collection and delivery.
The pharmaceutical company switched to HSBC UK as part of a refinance package to fund strategic acquisitions, enabling the business to target growth and increase the company’s market share in additional locations across the South East England.
Danny Osbon, CEO at Osbon Pharmacy Group, said: “It was clear that HSBC UK was the right banking partner to help support our business growth plans. The switch to HSBC UK has been smooth and easy - and the support has been amazing so far at this crucial moment for the business. We’re excited about the future as we start to make our plans for growth a reality.”
Amit Tomar, senior commercial manager at HSBC UK, added: “Pharmacies are on the front line, offering vital services and advice to community members with health and wellbeing concerns. We’re pleased to support the team at Osbon Pharmacy as they meet the demand for community healthcare by providing crucial on-the-ground medical care to those who need it most.”
