This week's London appointments

This week’s round up of London appointments includes DoubleVerify, Mobeus and CBRE. Read on to find out more.

Carolyn Watt, DoubleVerify

DoubleVerify (“DV”), a software platform for digital media measurement, data and analytics, has announced the appointment of Carolyn Watt as its vice president of global client partnerships. Carolyn will be based in London.

As DV’s vice president of global client partnerships, Carolyn will be responsible for cultivating relationships with the company’s largest global customers.

As part of her role, Carolyn will lead the global, regional and local teams in identifying the unique commercial needs of DV’s advertiser partners, and ensure the seamless delivery of DV’s comprehensive solutions.

Carolyn commented: “Trust is foundational to DV’s mission to build a better industry for global advertisers.

“To remain an essential and trusted partner of brands, we need to recognise and respond to their organisational structures as well as local and global contexts. I’m thrilled to join the team and to be partnering with local markets to drive this vital work.”

Dominic Draysey, Mobeus

Mobeus has announced that Dominic Draysey has been promoted to investment director. Dominic joined Mobeus as a graduate in 2014 and has made rapid progress having worked on a number of transactions in recent years.

Most recently he co-led the firm’s first investment for Mobeus V; the £8.8m investment to back the MBO of Gungho Marketing, the sales-outsourcing business focused on the Regulatory Technology sector. This continues a strong run of completions. In 2021, Dominic sourced and led the £9.1m Mobeus IV investment into The Boundary.

He also co-led the £25.5m MBO of Inbox Insight, a B2B demand generation agency, through a £18.1m investment into the business. At the end of 2020, Dominic led Mobeus’s exit of Vectair which delivered an 8.5x return.

Kevin Wood, CBRE

Global real estate advisor CBRE has appointed Kevin Wood as a senior director in its Oxford office. Kevin joins the firm from Lambert Smith Hampton where he was head of the Oxford office and led the national Life Sciences team.

A “highly experienced” leasing agent, Kevin has advised on some of the largest Science Parks across the region, including Harwell Campus and Oxford Business Park, as well as acting on numerous industrial and office instructions

He has advised on some of the highest profile transactions in the market in recent times, including the pre-let of the Minion Building to Oxford Nanopore at Harwell Campus and leasing the speculatively refurbished building 5520 to Perspctum Diagnostics.

Kevin commented: “I am excited to be joining CBRE and look forward to helping the team drive the growth of the office and increase our agency footprint across the region.”
