Coffee Morning Produces Good Conversation
Residents at Haslington Lodge Care Home had the opportunity to join other members of the community for a good natter during a church hall coffee morning.
Joining the Rev Charlie Lloyd Evans the Care Home embraced the invitation to join in at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Swanscombe, which provided everyone with the perfect opportunity to spread a little happiness as they handed out the Belmont Healthcare book of BIG jokes.
Tracey Crittenden, Activities Coordinator at Haslington Lodge Care Home says: “Joining the coffee morning was a lovely opportunity for us to participate in community activities, meet people, and have new conversations whilst having a cuppa with cake.
“It also gave us the opportunity to spread a little humour through copies of our very own self-published joke book. The jokes must have been good as we have been invited back, something we are certainly looking forward to doing.”
