Marion King, Bibby Financial Service
Global SME funder, Bibby Financial Services (BFS) has appointed Marion King as Non-Executive Director as it continues to work towards its ambitious growth strategy.
An accomplished leader with more than 25 years’ experience across the financial services sector, Marion has held senior executive roles with NatWest Group, Mastercard, Vocalink and Reuters, in addition to non-executive directorships with Low Carbon Contracts Company and commodity price reporting agency, Fastmarkets.
Marion is currently Chair of the Advisory Board of the Payments Association and former Chair of the Payments Futures Strategy Group for UK Finance. In 2018, she joined the Multiple Sclerosis Society as Board Trustee.
Jonathan Lewis, chairman of BFS, said: “Marion’s deep understanding and experience of the financial services sector, combined with her focus on delivering genuine value for clients will be a huge benefit to the business as we continue towards our growth ambition.”

Rebecca Rathore, Stagecoach
Greater Manchester’s largest bus operator, Stagecoach, has announced its latest appointment to the leadership team. Rebecca Rathore has been appointed to the role of Operations Director at Stagecoach Manchester, taking over from Matthew Kitchin who has taken up the role of Managing Director at Stagecoach Yorkshire.
Rebecca has an extensive career in the transport sector, serving as Head of Ground Transport and Landside Support at Manchester Airport for four years, as well as holding positions at Transport for Greater Manchester, Southern Railway, The Go-Ahead Group and National Express.
Commenting on her new role at Stagecoach Manchester, Rebecca said: “I’m incredibly excited to join the Greater Manchester team and begin working with them at such a pivotal time of change for the transport sector. I’m grateful for the opportunity to apply the knowledge I’ve learnt over the years to a new area and I can’t wait to get started.”
Rebecca will be responsible for Greater Manchester operations which includes over 1,800 drivers and 700 buses covering over 23.9 million miles a year across the region.

I’m sure her years of experience will be a great asset to us and I look forward to working closely with her to deliver efficient and high quality bus services to our communities.”
Lizzie Allen, Beaverswood
Wokingham-based workplace visual communications and safety specialist Beaverswood has appointed a senior executiveto oversee its brand development and product marketing as it invests further in growth and international expansion. Lizzie Allen joins the Toutley Road firm as marketing manager in a move that will see her working alongside the senior management team on planned strategic growth.
Bringing more than six years’ experience and expertise in the industrial safety products sector to the role, she will also be involved in developing Beaverswood’s profile and reach across the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), where the company is expanding its reseller network operations.
Lizzie Allen’s appointment comes as Beaverswood continues to invest in resources and new product development to support business growth through its resellers and generate end-user demand from warehouse, logistics and distribution centre operators.
In taking up her new position, she believes there are considerable opportunities for the company to build on its strong brand presence, both in the UK and internationally. She said: “I am very excited about the future potential of the business and look forward to developing ambitious marketing plans and initiatives to raise the company’s profile and further strengthen its position in the market.”
Steph Gentle, marketing director at IWS Group, Beaverswood’s parent company, said: “Lizzie will be a great addition to the team as we continue to develop our activity across all markets.We are committed to hiring the best industry talent to support our growth and ambitions, so with her strong experience and track record in marketing and content creation, it’s fantastic to have her on board.”
