Enterprising Trucker Launches Clothing Brand for Industry Enthusiasts
Third-generation trucker and HGV aficionado Pete Wolstenholme, has launched a unique new, unisex clothing brand for truck drivers and enthusiasts worldwide, Ten Four Trucking.
Driven by his long-term passion and over 23 years’ experience in driving HGVs, Cheshire resident Pete has developed a range of high-quality, stylish apparel and merch, striving to reflect personality while also providing a comfortable alternative to corporate uniforms for both men and women.
Pete, who is a loyal employee of leading container repair and refurbishment specialist UK Container Maintenance (UCKM), recently marking his tenth year driving for the company, has created the solution to confining traditional workwear, working after hours from his vehicle to develop the brand.
Specifically designed to provide quality and comfort, the unisex range includes hoodies, t-shirts, polo tops and vests, all available in a versatile colour palette of neutral tones and with inclusive sizing, ranging from S to 5XL. In addition to its clothing collection, Ten Four Trucking also has a selection of accessories for both the driver and vehicle, including caps and an air freshener.
Commenting on what led Pete to develop the brand he explains, “I have a huge passion for anything truck-related, and enjoy sharing my interest and passion. Spending around 40% of my life in my truck, I understand that it’s important to wear clothing that is comfortable for extended periods of time, whilst still maintaining a professional appearance. It was vital to me that the Ten Four Trucking collection was developed using high-quality, respirable fabric and therefore, each garment has been made using 100% organic, ring-spun combed cotton for extra comfort.
“I have quite an obsession with cleaning and detailing the UKCM HGVs and would love to grow the Ten Four Trucking brand to include a detailing range. Ten Four Trucking is as much about building a community of like-minded truckers, as it is about providing reliable clothing and accessories for long hours on the road.”
Emma Elston MBE, CEO of UKCM added, “We are always keen to support our devoted employees with their endeavours both in and out of the business, encouraging and inspiring them to push forward and achieve their aspirations, whether that’s supporting with internal initiatives, pursuing hobbies and interests, charitable challenges or taking a step into the world of business.”
“Ten Four Trucking firmly showcases Pete’s passion as a UKCM driver and fills a gap in the market for both comfortable and stylish apparel and workwear, while allowing drivers to take pride in their appearance and maintaining a professional corporate image.”
