Lingerie retailer Bravissimo agrees deal for new office
Leading lingerie retailer Bravissimo has agreed a ten-year deal to lease new office space at a prestigious Midlands development.
The deal is one of a pair concluded by leading independent commercial property specialist Bromwich Hardy for the Tachbrook Park site at Leamington Spa.
Bromwich Hardy founding partner Tom Bromwich said the two deals offered further evidence of high levels of demand for quality accommodation in the office market in the wake of the Covid pandemic.
Bravissimo, which is based in Leamington Spa and employs some 600 people, has agreed to sub-let 14,500 sq ft of office space at 1 Athena Drive from Co-operative Energy Limited, which closed and vacated the property in May 2019.
Meanwhile the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) has also agreed a ten-year lease for 7,600 sq ft of space at neighbouring 2 Athena Drive.
Tom, who acted for Co-operative Energy Limited in concluding both deals, said the deals showed that companies were still actively seeking the highest quality office accommodation.
“Both these sites offer superb office space with all the associated infrastructure and fittings you would expect, in an excellent location and with a modern, skilled workforce to hand. Both tenants will be carrying out a comprehensive refurbishment of their buildings to create a high quality, vibrant workspace.
“As companies review their office portfolios in the wake of the pandemic, this sort of office space is in huge demand, and we expect to see this trend continue despite the economic uncertainty we are currently experiencing.
“I’m delighted to have secured these deals for a first-class client with two forward-thinking and excellent companies. I look forward to both enjoying years of success in their new offices.”
Bromwich Hardy were joint agents for the offices with Adrian Griffith of Avison Young.
