Manchester sustainability group pledges to save businesses over £1m on energy bills
A Manchester based sustainability group has made a commitment to help businesses save more than £1m in energy costs over the next 12 months.
Pilot Group, which is celebrating its thirty-year anniversary, aims to reduce the gas consumption of businesses, many based in the North West, by 12million kWh in the next year, through the provision of its Energy Management System (EMS).
With a turnover of £45m and 160 employees, Pilot Group’s offer is focused on achieving carbon reduction and energy efficiency through the provision of energy management systems, electric vehicle charging points and traffic control systems.
Shayne Wilson, head of EMS Sales at Pilot Group, commented: “We know that businesses in our region play a crucial role in supporting the British economy and with energy prices soaring higher than ever, we’re passionate about taking action to reduce the impact on local businesses as far as we possibly can.
“We’re confident that we will achieve the targets we have set out and look forward to supporting many more businesses of all sizes across our region as we continue to build and invest in our EMS division, which is a key area of focus for the company over the coming years”
As part of its energy saving efforts across the North West, the sustainable technology provider has also recently launched a competition to gift one locally-based SME an EMS worth up to £15k, enabling them to save up to 40 per cent on their energy bills and carbon emissions. The competition will run until the 23rd September 2022.
