Mark is an experienced CFO with over 15 years of Board experience, predominantly in Private Equity backed businesses. He trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in Newcastle and subsequently held senior finance roles in the transport, leisure, healthcare and construction sectors.

Mark Dolder, CEO of Bazaar Group, commented: “I am delighted that Mark and Dan have chosen to join Bazaar Group, particularly as their talents, experience and leadership qualities will contribute greatly to our future success.
“I’m equally excited about Helen’s deserved promotion to the board, as she’s the epitome of a progressive and highly effective HR leader.”
Verity Hall, Bristol Street Motors Sunderland Vauxhall
Verity Hall has been appointed as general manager at Bristol Street Motors Sunderland Vauxhall, in addition to the brand’s neighbouring Peugeot dealership.
Verity began her career within the motor retail industry as a Sales Executive at Bristol Street Motors Durham Vauxhall, before her high levels of performance saw a promotion to Franchise Manager in Sunderland.
After completing the Group’s challenging and rewarding Leadership Development Programme, Verity was awarded the 2021 ‘Sales Manager of the Year’ title at the company’s CEO Awards.
Verity said: “I’ve been working alongside the very experienced Jass Singh for several years, developing myself and my skills, which have allowed me to progress to General Manager.
“It’s going to be a big challenge and I have huge shoes to fill following Jass’s retirement, but the support I have received from my colleagues and senior managers has been amazing.”
Robert Forrester, CEO of Bristol Street Motors, added: “We do not yet have enough women as General Managers across the motor industry, but I’m pleased with the progress we are making within our own Group.
“Verity is an example of the career path and leadership training we offer to all colleagues, and I am delighted that she has taken on this role.”
Andrew Pinkerton, Hodgson Sayers
Stanley based, multi-award winning, building and roofing specialist, Hodgson Sayers, has announced the appointment of Andrew Pinkerton as contract manager. Andrew’s arrival follows that of Linden Blackwood as contract manager for the company’s Nottingham office, operating across the Midlands.
Andrew, from Stanley, has commenced work on a number of projects including the roof refurbishment to Grade II listed Darlington Library.
Andrew commented: “Having taken a break from the construction sector to spend time with my family, I felt now was the right time to return. I firmly believe that construction runs in my blood and being from Stanley, I have been aware of Hodgson Sayers for years. It has an excellent reputation not just within the local area but much further afield.”
Managing director, John Sayers, added: “We warmly welcome Andrew to the team. He has the experience and knowledge to support our younger members and will add great value to our customer relationships.
“We continue to build on our national footprint and in recent months we have been involved in a range of roofing projects across the country, including work on behalf of Nottingham City Homes as part of a greener housing, energy saving programme and major roofing works and external building repairs to Grade II listed Kendal Quaker Meeting House.”
