“Exceptionally luxurious” £140m apartments launch in London's West End
Galliard Homes has completed all building works on two apartment buildings at the £140m residential-led scheme TCRW SOHO coinciding with the launch of the first phase of 81 apartments for sale.
This “momentous achievement” was celebrated by a launch party with a series of dressed show apartments, with varied layouts, by different interior designers being showcased to potential buyers and agents. The completion of TCRW SOHO comes just over 18 months since construction began with the first move-ins expected before Christmas.
TCRW SOHO is a “landmark” residential-led regeneration project which fronts onto Oxford Street, at the top of the historic thoroughfare Dean Street, offering “exceptionally luxurious” homes right in the heart of the West End with the new Crossrail Interchange directly below.
Galliard was the principal contractor for TCRW SOHO with Ramboll acting as Consulting Engineers. Designed by architectural practice Hawkins\Brown the two completed apartment buildings present a choice of 81 studio, one, two and three apartments ranging from 409 sq ft to 1,411 sq ft and 11 one, two and three-bedroom penthouses.
Galliard hosted the drinks reception at TCRW SOHO to showcase to guests the completed development alongside the newly launched show apartments by Honky Interior Architecture and Design, Coronado Interiors.
Seven total show apartments have been commissioned by Galliard to be designed by four different interior designers with Olivia Alexandra Interior Design and the China Design Centre to install their offerings in October.
The design concept and specification for TCRW SOHO has been devised by internationally acclaimed interior designer Nicola Fontanella of Argent Design who has created “some of the world’s most exclusive homes” in London, Miami, Monaco, and New York for clients including A-listers Madonna, Guy Ritchie and Naomi Campbell.
Based around Oxford Street, Regent’s Street, and Bond Street, London’s West End is home to over 600 retailers, over 70 restaurants, over 40 theatre/cinema venues and six universities. On Oxford Street alone famous brand names include Selfridges, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Hakkasan, and Nike Town.
Stephen Conway, executive chairman and CEO at Galliard Homes, commented: “TCRW SOHO provides world class apartments in an unrivalled location off Oxford Street in the heart of London’s West End.
“Directly above The Crossrail Interchange, TCRW SOHO is a truly unique opportunity for buyers to be connected to the rest of the bustling city whilst owning their own luxury oasis of calm within the development.”
