West Yorkshire based tech company on course to hit £1m in revenues for the first time

Frame the West Yorkshire based technology and data science business, is forecasting robust growth over the next 12 months as it aims to hit £1m in revenues by the end of the next financial year.

Frame, which was established in 2020 by Liam Fulton and Hannah Bratley, is a technology and data science business that is headquartered in Slaithwaite but works with clients across the UK and internationally. Its team of end-to-end data experts, who include engineers, scientists and developers, work across two core divisions: Consultancy and Solutions.

In its first year, revenues stood at £61,000 which grew to £453,000 last year and resulted in a 641 per cent increase in gross profits. The business has also relocated to a new office at Globe Mill in Slaithwaite and upped its headcount to 10. The move to Globe Mill was all about preparing the business for its next phase of growth.

The new office provides enough space for the planned team expansion and delivers the option of additional flexible working capabilities.

The growth of the business has been driven with no outside investment with all profits being retained and reinvested. Frame works with a broad range of clients in the banking and finance, retail (both bricks & mortar and online), logistics and distribution sectors. Its broad client roster includes NatWest, Sorted Group, ECO Surv and Smart Data Foundry.

Hannah Bratley, co-founder and CEO, said: “The last two years has seen rapid but sustainable growth which has been as a result of our vision and people. Our primary collective focus has always been on delivering for our clients whilst constantly innovating.

“That approach will never change, nor will our determination to remain independent. The decision to reinvest all our profits was an easy one as it allows us to retain full control and build the business debt free.”

Frame’s Consultancy team works with clients in numerous ways to help them overcome their specific data related problems including designing and implementing bespoke data engineering pipelines, building pricing optimisation algorithms and delivering custom computer vision modelling which can be used to improve sales.

Whilst the Solutions team provides clients with a range of ‘off the shelf’ Applied Programming Interface (API) products that are customisable to meet their needs. Examples include data resourcing, strategy and custom data science project support.
