Multi-million pound contract sees Leeds engineers expand national capabilities

A Leeds firm of engineers has won a new round of work with a business park owner and operator to support the ongoing development of a multi-million-pound business park in the Midlands.

The news will see RWO provide a six-figure package of civil and structural engineering services for three BREEAM standard buildings and site infrastructure work, which will form part of the next phase of development at business park owner and operator Potter Space’s Droitwich site.

Coming as construction on the first phase of development is already underway, the new units, expected to be completed by spring 2023, will form part of Potter Space’s “ambitious” five-year plan to create upwards of 400,000 sq ft of industrial space on a 38-acre site close to the M5 motorway in Worcestershire.

The move follows extensive construction engineering services provided by RWO over the last 18 months to bring forward new industrial warehouse and logistics units across Yorkshire from the developer as it continues to grow its operations.

The Droitwich project comes as RWO, currently employing 30 people across its two offices and targeting revenues in excess of £3m in the next 12 months, is seeing strong demand for its engineering services from across the region’s commercial property development sector.
