Hospitality specialist launches “sunset sail” recruitment event to showcase tide of new jobs

Scottish hospitality specialist Buzzworks Holdings is set to launch a boat party to engage with new employees, showcasing the business and the recruitment opportunities it has to offer.

Buzzworks, which has been named in the Best Places to Work list for 2022, will be hosting the exclusive “sunset sail” to celebrate the opening of its new Thirty Knots restaurant in South Queensferry.

With 45 employment opportunities, both within the kitchen and front of house, the event will offer attendees stunning views of the Firth of Forth and the opportunity to experience the “first-class” hospitality for which Buzzworks is renowned, including food, drinks and music.

Nicola Watt, Buzzworks Holdings’ head of people, commented: “This is a very special recruitment event and we’re super excited to be able to showcase what Buzzworks has to offer.

“Buzzworks is all about investing in our people, having fun on the job and ensuring a forward-thinking approach to work-life balance, and that’s why we felt a sunset cruise would be an exciting way to meet prospective employees and show them what a career in Buzzworks looks like.

“With the arrival of Thirty Knots in November, this is an excellent opportunity for those keen to work both within a rewarding industry and a leading Scottish hospitality employer, here in the stunning surroundings of South Queensferry.”

The event, being held on Friday, October 28, will sail for two hours along the scenic Firth of Forth and provide a host of free drinks, nibbles and canapes for all of those interested in joining the Buzzworks team.

The company is recruiting for all positions in the East and is known for providing a fun, fast-paced working environment, industry-leading staff benefits, including competitive rates of pay, ongoing training and development, career progression, flexible working, and health and wellbeing incentives.

Nicola continued: “We’re certain this exciting recruitment event is bound to spark interest, however, only limited spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to register fast!”
