Nikki Rimmington, Browne Jacobson
Law firm Browne Jacobson has appointed former vice president and chief planning officer (CPO) of Aston Martin Lagonda, Nikki Rimmington as its first non-executive director (NED) of its Manufacturing & Industrials sector strategy board.
Nikki has over 20 years’ experience predominantly in the automotive and industrials sector but has worked across various other business service lines during her career.
This appointment endorses the firm’s commitment to making the legal profession more diverse and inclusive. It also follows on from its official partnership with O Shaped in May 2022, which is an innovative movement with a mission to drive positive change within the legal sector.
Speaking on the appointment, Declan Cushley, said: “Nikki’s appointment underpins our commitment to bolstering our Manufacturing & Industrials offering and to being an O Shaped law firm that is striving for effective change, not only in the legal landscape but across the sectors and industries we are supporting .”

David Buchanan, Equator
Digital Transformation consultancy Equator today announces the appointment of David Buchanan as the company’s new Performance Media Team Lead.
Reporting to Stacey Donald, associate marketing director at Equator, David will oversee multiple accounts working across the healthcare, travel, leisure, and financial services sectors. He brings with him over five years of experience working on notable accounts including Thermo Fisher, the New York Shipping Exchange and Tourism Northern Ireland, during stints at Loud Mouth Media and Transiris Scotland.
As someone keen on personal development, David joins the team to continue to expand his knowledge and expertise across the performance and marketing division. He also aims to further develop his management skills within the team lead role.

James Wood, JS
North West-based accountancy and business advisory firm JS, has announced that it has added to its partners today with the promotion of James Wood.
James has been appointed accounts partner following his 19 years of service at the practice and the announcement follows significant investment in the firm which includes the recent rebrand from Jackson Stephen to JS.
Since the start of 2022, JS has hired 10 new employees and promoted 13 existing members of staff and today’s announcement is all part of the business’s growth strategy, which includes its commitment to further developing its people and offering an outstanding service.
