Hayley Hayes, Emma Kenny, Miranda Stirling and Amelia Purdy: Gateley Legal
Gateley Legal has expanded its Leeds property team with four new appointments spanning the construction and real estate sectors. The growth coincides with the Leeds office celebrating its tenth anniversary.
Strengthening the offering of the construction team, Hayley Hayes joins as a legal director. Hayes specialises in construction-related dispute issues, including fire safety matters and will support housebuilder, developer and property clients. Outside of work, Hayley lectures part-time on the Legal Practice Course at Leeds Beckett University.
Newly qualified solicitor Emma Kenny also joins the construction team. Emma’s focus will be on fire safety and defect claims, as well as adjudications. The appointment of new legal director Miranda Stirling boosts the real estate team in Leeds.
Miranda has a strong background in asset management work which includes managing the property portfolio for a major national supermarket. In this role, she will be focusing on large scale portfolio sales and transactions, as well as landlord and tenant matters.
Amelia Purdy has also joined the real estate team as an associate. Purdy will be supporting the team on a range of matters including commercial property development work, property finance and landlord and tenant matters.

Gordon Roy, June Hutchinson and Tom Studds: New Street Consulting Group
People advisory firm New Street Consulting Group (NSCG) has made three further hires at its Leeds office, taking the firm’s headcount to 29 in the city.
Gordon Roy joins as a senior consultant in the Executive Search team, bringing with him over 23 years’ recruitment experience working with businesses throughout the professional services, business advisory and private equity sectors.
In his new role, Gordon will support organisations in pinpointing and recruiting new talent as they continue to reorganise operations to embrace hybrid, flexible working practices.
Research analyst June Hutchinson has joined the Talent Intelligence team in Leeds, where she will draw on data and market intelligence to support clients with talent strategies. Tom Studds has joined as an apprentice in the Business Partners team and will provide intermediate compliance and finance support across the firm.

Gregg Turner: Engage
Digital agency Engage has invested in its offering with the appointment of Gregg Turner as performance marketing director to strengthen the services available to clients.
Gregg has been appointed to lead the agency on the development and implementation of its new proposition and to grow the performance arm of the business. This encompasses a range of existing specialisms including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Paid Search, Social Media, Email Marketing and Reporting & Analytics.
Gregg will work closely with the board and lead the department in achieving its ongoing growth objectives.
