Tangye Hydraulic Jacks & Pumps

Allspeeds Limited manufactures a range of well-known industry brands including Webtool hydraulic cutters and systems, Tangye hydraulic lifting jacks and hydrostatic test pumps, Millingford sucker rod pumps, and Kopp variable speed drives.

Many of these brands represent landmarks in the development of industrial engineering. Tangye hydraulic jacks were used by Isambard Kingdom Brunel to launch the SS Great Eastern, then the world’s largest ship, in 1858.

For over 160 years Tangye has developed and manufactured a range of high-quality hydraulic equipment ideal for industrial lifting as well as for a variety of other applications.

Tangye offers Hydraclaw, Hydramite and Hydralite hydraulic jacks as well as Hydrapak pumps, ideal when no power source is available, and Hydrostatic Test Pumps for checking the pressure resistance of gas and fluid pressure vessels.

Tangye’s range of lightweight, aluminium products has been in use throughout the world since 1856. Characterised by robust and efficient design, Tangye hydraulic jacks and pumps are high quality products that provide many years of reliable service.

Industrial Lifting

Tangye jacks allow heavy loads to be lifted, lowered, manoeuvred and positioned with safety. The range offers lifting capacity, 5-100 tonne, and stroke options to meet the needs of a variety of heavy lifting situations including claws for low ground clearance and screwed rams for sustained load retention. Due to their lightweight design and ease of use, Tangye’s Hydralite, Hydraclaw, and Hydramite hydraulic jacks can be safely operated by one person.

Military Applications

The Mastiff jack is used for maintenance, and is capable of lifting up to 35 tonnes.

There are two standard jacks produced for this application, those being;

M20 (20te jack) – NATO stock number (NSN) 5120-99-801-3199 M35 (35te jack) – NATO stock number (NSN) 5120-99-801-3195

Aircraft Jacks

Tangye Hydramite and Hydralite Aircraft Jacks are lightweight and portable hydraulic lifting jacks designed to lift, lower, manoeuvre and position heavy loads with minimum effort and maximum safety.

Designed and manufactured in accordance with BS EN 1494:2000+A1:2008, The Tangye Aircraft Jacks supplied by Allspeeds Ltd feature:

• High strength aluminium alloy construction is lighter than traditional chrome plated steel which minimises weight and increases portability • Extendable screw with custom socket design to suit a number of different aircraft • Integrated relief valve prevents lifting of loads in excess of the rated capacity • Fail safe positive stop mechanism prevents overstroking of the ram by venting oil to the reservoir when the limit is reached • Easy operation – The jack can be taken to full load by a single person • Reliable – All moving parts totally enclosed and lubricated by hydraulic oil • Durable and easy to maintain.
