Flurry of sales at London’s “iconic” Southbank Place development total £30m
A recent run of sales at Southbank Place has seen all remaining apartments sold, with only penthouses now remaining at the “iconic” development.
The last eight apartments below penthouse level across One and Thirty Casson Square have been bought for a combined value of just under £30m, which takes the total number of homes sold at the riverside scheme to 469, GDV totalling £775m.
The remaining units within the development include three penthouses and a three-bedroom sub-penthouse across One Casson Square and Thirty Casson Square, the last of the 213 and 166 units, respectively.
These contemporary towers, designed by Squire and Partners, are cased in stone and command the “best views across London”, from the River Thames and Houses of Parliament extending to St. Paul’s Cathedral and the City of London.
Two penthouses at Belvedere Gardens are also available. One of the units atop the “unique” river-facing buildings is a magnificent award-winning four-bedroom residence which has been designed and dressed by the renowned design studio Goddard Littlefair.
Residents at Southbank Place also enjoy exclusive use of a private health club located in the basement of the wider development. Designed by Goddard Littlefair and operated by specialist Educated Body, the space includes a 25-metre swimming pool, steam and sauna rooms, gymnasium, relaxation pods, treatment rooms and a hair and beauty studio.
Brian De’ath, managing director of residential sales at Southbank Place, said: “Southbank Place has remained one of London’s most successful developments and, even through a pandemic and unpredictable markets, sales have remained strong.
“This is largely attributed to the quality of homes on offer, the fully immersed lifestyle and the excellent location. The final penthouse units boast unparalleled views of London’s skyline, in addition to the state-of-the-art facilities and amenities exclusively for residents, so this development is still a huge draw to buyers.
“To be maintaining the sales levels that we are is a huge testament to the scheme and is a good yardstick for the final phase set to launch next year.”
Developed by Braeburn Estates, Southbank Place has become a “recognisable landmark” behind the London Eye on the River Thames. One final river-facing residential building is set to be launched at Southbank Place in 2023.
