Vertu Motors plc appoints new divisional aftersales director
Leading automotive retailer group, Vertu Motors plc, has appointed an industry expert, with 25 years’ experience, to a key national role. Kevin Hardie is the Group’s new Divisional Aftersales Director for the Ford South division. Kevin started in the motor retail trade as a parts adviser at the age of 18. Kevin, who lives near York, has since worked his way up within the aftersales sector, demonstrating successful leadership and undertaking any training available to him. He has amassed a wide range of experience, in particular working for Audi UK and BMW UK, as well as gaining brand accreditations. Before joining Vertu Motors plc, Kevin was an Aftersales Director with franchised motor retailer group Inchcape. Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors plc, said: “Kevin brings a wealth of experience and a very focused business approach to this important role within the Vertu Motors group. “He has an impressive track record in contributing to the performance and customer experience at motor dealerships. “His extensive skills, knowledge and expertise will have a pivotal part in the company’s plans for further development and growth.” Kevin said: “Vertu Motors plc is a growing and forward-thinking company, which has built a strong reputation as a major investor in, and contributor to, the UK motor retail industry. “I am looking forward to playing an integral part in its future success.” In his new role, Kevin will spearhead the Ford South division aftersales operations including servicing and parts, business development, strategy, and customer care.
