B&Q opens relocated Greater London store in time for festive break
B&Q, the home improvement retailer, has opened its newly relocated Greater London store in Enfield.
The new 53,000 sq, ft store, which was opened by the Mayor of Enfield, Doris Jiagge, features 16,000 products as well as over 30,000 lines available for home delivery or next day click and collect.,
All 90 colleagues from the previous store transferred to the new store and are on hand to support the local community with home improvement ideas, providing the tools and knowledge on everything from complete home renovations to the latest trends in Christmas décor.
Gordon Howes, unit manager at B&Q Enfield, said: “I look forward to welcoming Enfield residents into our newly revamped and relocated store over the coming weeks. The new location in Enfield is easy for our local community to access for all their home improvement needs. “We’re expecting our Christmas products to be particularly popular for those last-minute Christmas shoppers, and have a brilliant range of trees, decorations and lights to inspire our customers.
“Alongside the festive range, customers will be able to sign up in store to our B&Q Club membership and receive exclusive rewards and offers, as well as key cutting and showroom planning services as well as a wealth of DIY tools and essentials from adhesives and sealants to power tools and paintbrushes.”
Mayor Doris Jiagge, added: “It was a pleasure to join the B&Q Enfield team for the re-opening of the newly relocated store, I am delighted to see the wide offering for local customers as well.” The new store also welcomes Trade customers to join the TradePoint scheme: membership is free and exclusive discounts are available to trade professionals. From builders to decorators, kitchen and bathroom fitters, TradePoint supplies products for every project.
