Tuffshop strengthens local roots agreeing Leeds United Business Club Deal
Leading workwear and safety-wear supplier, Tuffshop, has agreed a multi-year deal with sports rights specialists Eleven Sports Media to become a Leeds United FC Business Club member.
The Leeds United Business Club partnership will allow Tuffshop to strengthen its profile and promote its services to businesses in Yorkshire and beyond. As well as supplying quality branded uniforms, premium workwear, and PPE, Tuffshop also provides promotional merchandise, signage and banners, and kits and leisurewear for sports teams.
As a LUFC Business Club partner, the Tuffshop brand will have a distinct presence at Elland Road every matchday, with their message communicated via Eleven Sports Media’s powerful fan engagement platforms. Tuffshop’s brand will appear on high impact crowd-facing LED, camera-facing, and mid-tier LED displays, creating huge opportunity to reach fans in the stadium and watching on TV.
The company’s brand will also feature on StatTV and Stadium TV, which delivers engaging content via screens installed throughout the concourse and hospitality areas of Elland Road. Tuffshop will also have opportunity to reach Leeds United’s millions of social media followers, through Eleven’s StatZone content, which aligns the brand with graphics-led match stat related content pushed out via LUFC’s official social channels.
Speaking of the agreement, Tuffshop’s Tim Banks commented: “We’re proud to be associated with Leeds United, our local club. It really puts things into perspective when we look back at where we’ve come from - starting with such a small operation, to now being a nationwide provider of workwear and PPE.
“Being lifelong Leeds United fans, it’s a little surreal seeing our brand take pride of place at Elland Road, but incredibly satisfying, as it’s the next step in our ambitious plans to grow the business.”
The Leeds-based workwear supplier prides itself on supplying premium quality products, ensuring that products will last.
Such is the success Tuffshop has enjoyed over the past decade, the company’s scale has developed massively. They have recently opened new premises in Woodlesford which includes much more retail space, production space and office space, whilst also reviving a historic building in the process.
This compliments Tuffshop’s large online status across their e-commerce site and social media platforms, allowing them to service organisations across the UK through its next day delivery service. As a Leeds United Business Club member, Tuffshop will also access partner networking events, which will provide members with scope to develop local B2B relationships.
Tuffshop sales manager Chris Batty concluded, “We feel that the networking opportunities are among the best in the region. We want to be able to build relationships with other local businesses and help them by providing unrivalled quality and service.”
