Construction concludes on Bellway’s “exclusive” Hertfordshire canalside development

Construction work on an “exclusive” canalside development in Bourne End has now finished with just three homes left for sale.

The final properties for sale at Bellway’s 59-home Westbrook Moorings scheme in Hertfordshire are the three-bedroom Mason and four-bedroom Piper designs.

The homes are on the site of a former contractor’s yard next to the Grand Union Canal and the development has been named in honour of the area’s mooring heritage and the Westbrook Mere. The project, which includes a landscaped village green, is just two miles from Berkhamsted and three miles from Hemel Hempstead.

Natalie Macleod, Bellway North London sales manager, commented: “Homebuyers could be starting the new year with a brand-new home here at Westbrook Moorings, if they manage to get their hands on one of the last few properties in this idyllic spot by the water.

“We have a number of incentives available for prospective buyers to benefit from, including a mortgage contribution of £1,000 over month for up to 18 months. We would therefore encourage all those interested to come to the development and have a chat with our friendly sales advisors to find out more.

“This development has been very popular, driven largely by the picturesque views, but also because of its easy access to the shops and attractions of nearby Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead, and its commuter links to Watford and further afield.

“This is an affluent and sought-after area with well-regarded schools nearby, making this development perfect for families looking to buy a beautiful new build property.”

Bellway has built 36 homes for private sale at Westbrook Moorings and 23 affordable properties for rent or shared ownership. The private homes are a range of two, three and four-bedroom houses.

Purchasers at the development are welcomed into their new homes with a bouquet from Hanako Flower Shop in nearby Berkhamsted. The houses are all part of Bellway’s Artisan Collection which have been designed based on feedback from customers and combine traditional craftsmanship with modern construction techniques.
