Seven appointments, Saturn Visual Solutions
Manchester-based digital signage consultancy and content agency, Saturn Visual Solutions, has hired seven new staff members in the last nine months, as a result of a UK-wide rising demand for digital signage services.
Following a rebranding exercise and the lifting of the pandemic restrictions less than a year ago, it has increased its revenue past pre-lockdown levels and has hired more staff to cope with the demand.
Chris Welsh, CEO said: “The lockdowns were very tough for the AV industry and sadly many businesses didn’t survive. We took the opportunity to refocus our business strategy and take a fresh look at our brand. After an initial slow start to 2022, things have really taken off for us and we’ve picked up a number of large projects for installation, content creation and enclosure design from brands including ODEON, Seiko, and Cupra.”
Amidst last year’s pandemic lockdowns, the company had just 21 members of staff, but during 2022 Saturn has hired a new a graphic designer, three installation project delivery specialists, a software developer, a BDM, and a sales and marketing assistant.
It has also in the process of appointing a new head of product design to develop the company’s suite of off-the-shelf screen enclosure products, and to offer a custom enclosure design and build service.
Barbara Richardson & Sara Williams, BSG Solicitors
BSG Solicitors have restructured their family law team based in Lancaster, appointing specialist Solicitor Barbara Richardson as Head of Divorce and Finance and chartered legal executive (CILEX) Sara Williams who has specialised in family law for 18 years. Specialist Solicitor Suzanne Willey heads the Children Team working alongside Solicitor Hannah Forsyth.
Barbara is accredited by Resolution in the areas of Complex Financial Property and Pensions on Divorce and is currently the only Resolution accredited pensions specialist Lawyer in Lancashire. She is also the Chair of the Lancashire and Cumbria Resolution Committee.
Sara specialises in divorce and finance and deals with children and domestic abuse cases both privately paying and legally aided. She is a firm supporter of the CILEX route to becoming a Lawyer having co-founded the Lancashire Branch of CILEX and is the current Chair.
Suzanne has specialised in Children Law since qualifying 17 years ago. She is experienced in a wide range of family matters including care proceedings, private law children cases and domestic abuse cases. Suzanne is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel and is accredited by Resolution in the areas of Children Law and Domestic Abuse.

Alex Gourlay, Holland & Barrett
Holland & Barrett are delighted to announce the appointment of Alex Gourlay as Executive Chair.
Alex assumes the role from Michael Casey, Executive Chair since September 2021 and a non-executive Board member since 2017. Michael has overseen a vital transformation of the business and leaves H&B well-placed to be the trusted partner to help millions of people around the world achieve their personal health and wellness goals.
Michael will remain as a non-executive Board member and will return to LetterOne to create and lead a new business unit for making impact investments. Michael Casey said: “I’ve been privileged to be involved in H&B for over 5 years. I’m proud to have been a small part of its 150-year history helping people lead happier, healthier lives.
