Birmingham team recognised with awards
Bristol Street Motors Birmingham PartsPlus Centre is celebrating the recognition of three of its colleagues. Louise Wallis was awarded Centre Manager of the Year at the 2022 PartsPlus Awards and Leigh Ward, named Business Development Executive of the Year. Warehouse Supervisor Simon Reeves also received a Special Recognition Award, which acknowledged his willingness to continuously go above and beyond for the business, and his fellow colleagues. Bristol Street Motors Birmingham PartsPlus Centre, which employs 47 colleagues, recently welcomed colleagues from the Tamworth PartsPlus site after a huge fire destroyed their building. Within 48 hours, they had provided everything needed for the Tamworth business to be back up and running smoothly. With more than 60 PartsPlus sites across the UK, to win an award is a significant achievement, and winning three at one location is testament to excellent leadership and the commitment of the team. Louise Wallis said: “We are all delighted by these awards, which although they are for individuals, reflect the hard work and dedication of the whole team. To me working as a team is what sets us apart. “Whatever we’re asked to do, for example welcoming the Tamworth branch to Birmingham after the fire, we make it happen. If volunteers are called to trial a new system or procedure, we put our hands up. “I am so proud of Leigh and Simon, and all the wonderful colleagues that make managing Bristol Street Motors Birmingham PartsPlus Centre such a joy. My award is for all of them.” Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Bristol Street Motors, said: “The colleagues at Bristol Street Motors Birmingham PartsPlus Centre thoroughly deserve these awards. “With more than 60 PartsPlus sites across the UK, to win an award is a significant achievement, and winning three at one location is testament to excellent leadership and the commitment of the colleagues there. “Congratulations to Louise, Simon, Leigh and the wider team - may their success continue!”
