A New Audiobook for Aspiring Business Owners is Released by South Yorkshire Business

Global release for Digital Marketing and The Power of the Brand

Ryan Bracha, Managing Director of Mexborough firm Gala Education & Marketing Ltd, has this week released a self-help audio book onto the global marketplace, with the intention of helping new and struggling businesses to take their products and services to new places. This follows on from the launch of the debut video tutorial from the ambitious team, available on education platform Udemy.

Bracha launched GEM with his colleagues in April 2022, with the backing and support of parent company Gala Tent, after they achieved phenomenal success together during the COVID-19 pandemic as Gala Tent’s in-house marketing team. Ryan, who also narrated and produced the audio book at the company’s Mexborough digital hub, said of the release of Digital Marketing & The Power of the Brand, “What makes GEM special is that we were never digital marketers to begin with; we were a team put together by Gala Tent CEO Jason Mace when he became fed up of spending obscene amounts of money on third party agencies. We each went off and learned new and different methods of marketing, and it turns out we work incredibly well together, and we wanted to show that if we can do it, then so can anybody. The audio book takes a lot of what we learned, and puts it into a really easy-to-digest 150 minutes that can help to untangle confusion about marketing a business online.” The audio book, which was released across notable platforms including Spotify, Apple Books and Google Play, is designed as a guide for aspiring entrepreneurs, new businesses and existing businesses that are struggling to get to grips with their online presence.

Bracha said, “A good digital marketing strategy begins with understanding what your brand is all about, who your customers are and who your competitors are. By delivering the content with examples and exercises for the listener to do in their own time, they should have a fully formed idea of their brand, and how to find the people that are most likely to buy their products and services.”

The team at GEM have many more non-fiction audio books and video tutorials planned to help new business to navigate their early years, which are all to be produced at their Mexborough Digital Hub, which includes audio production suite and green screen video recording studio. They are also in talks for producing an audio book for a local author, with Bracha to again provide the narration.

These spaces are available for hire for businesses and freelancers to use for creating their own digital content, as is the huge presentation suite which will very soon be used to deliver free digital marketing masterclasses for GEM’s neighbours in Mexborough and the surrounding areas.

Brand and Design Manager Samantha Davison said, “We’ve been able to build a really great space here, and we feel that if we can use it to help the businesses and people of Mexborough to achieve greater success online, then it’s only a good thing for the town. We’ve been made to feel very welcome, so it’s only right that we give back in whichever way we can.”

The Audio Suite at GEM’s Bank Street premises is available to hire now, with facilities for recording audio books, interviews and podcasts for up to 4 speakers. Prices start at £40 + VAT, with optional production services available from the team.
