Financial influencer inspires Dorset homebuyers
An influencer who has helped more than 10,000 families achieve financial independence, drew in dozens of people to an event designed to achieve homeownership in Dorset.
Leading housebuilder, Barratt Homes, welcomed Ken Okoroafor, who has more than 17,000 Instagram followers and founded TheHumblePenny.com, to Quarter Jack Park’s first “Why Buy New?” event in Wimborne.
Ken, who runs his successful business alongside his wife, Mary, hosted a series of short talks including money-saving tips and way buyers can build a deposit. He was also on hand to answer any questions throughout the day and joined a team of experts including Andrew Henry from Andrew Henry Interiors, mortgage advisor, Alan Offield, and the Quarter Jack Park sales team.
There was also a chance for visitors to benefit from a number of incentives from Barratt Homes, where savvy buyers could reserve a home for just £99 with the potential to receive a £27,000 contribution which could go towards their deposit, bills or mortgage.
Dovile, Sales Advisor, from Barratt Homes, was also available to talk through the housebuilder’s impressive incentives available upon purchase.
He said: “This was a brilliant opportunity for buyers to visit Quarter Jack Park and gain insightful knowledge into what purchasing a home with Barratt entails.
“Homeownership can feel like a distant dream for many, especially with the current cost of living crisis. However, our event was about inspiring people, and showing them that it is, in fact, more achievable than they might think.
