Harrogate to welcome tech event hosted by Silicon Yorkshire
Silicon Yorkshire, one of the fastest growing tech communities in the North, is preparing to host its next drinks evening in Harrogate, extending its reach to attract tech talent and c-suite digital executives from North Yorkshire.
Taking place on Wednesday 8 March from 5.30pm – 11pm at Manahatta, off the ginnel in Harrogate, those registering free to attend will be welcomed with a complimentary drink before meeting with other executives from the wider tech sector.
With a purpose to bring people together to ignite intelligent conversation, gather special interest groups, share news, and generate opportunities for everyone, it is expected that this will be another sell-out event for the group.
Board director of Silicon Yorkshire, Gareth Huxall, comments: “We have been overwhelmed with the response to Silicon Yorkshire. There is clearly a desire from senior executives that want to join a group to remove the ‘hard sell’ and replace it with meaningful engagements.
“While we continue to rely on digital communications to engage and interact for business, there is no replacement for personal interactions when it comes to extending our networks with trusted colleagues.
“We look forward to welcoming familiar faces and to introducing those that have yet to attend an event to like-minded experts that can talk confidently about the topics that matter most to the tech community.”
Attracting 3,000 pre-registrations before launch, Silicon Yorkshire brings executives and senior executives from technology ecosystems throughout Yorkshire and beyond together. The group has ambitions to become the largest and most active tech community in the UK.
