London based creative agency announces B-Corp status
London based Creative agency, CULT, has announced today its certification as a B Corporation (or B Corp), joining a growing group of companies reinventing business by pursuing purpose as well as profit.
CULT has been certified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp movement, as having met rigorous social and environmental standards which represent its commitment to goals outside of shareholder profit.
Founded in 2012, CULT applied for B Corp in early 2022, achieving certification after a lengthy review process and achieving an impact score of 93.7, far higher than the benchmark of 80. CULT is now part of a community of 6,400 businesses globally who have certified as B Corps.
The B Corp community in the UK comprises over 1,200 companies across 58 industries and include well-known brands such as The Guardian, innocent, Patagonia, The Body Shop and organic food pioneers Abel & Cole.
Recent attention on the Fashion and Beauty industry makes CULT’s B Corp certification a notable step and signals a shift towards greater accountability and transparency in the sector.

As part of its effort to hold the business accountable to its B Corp commitments, CULT has established a B Corp Committee to maintain its B Corp status and improve its B Corp score.
Headed up by Jose Sel de Felipe, the committee will meet quarterly to review the company’s performance across the five B Corp pillars of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers, with the aim of being the highest scoring creative agency in the UK by 2025.
