New fashion brand Chapter.London launches sustainable, made in England summer collection
From the creator of maternity brand Lily and Ribbon, new fashion brand Chapter.London has launched on the fashion scene. Created by Tanya Patel, previously of M&S, Arcadia Group and HSBC, they’ve just brought to market their staple collection of stylish dresses, jumpsuit, tops and trousers are everything women need for spring/summer 2023.
Chapter.London’s latest collection includes bold leopard prints, leather-look trousers and bright made-for-summer midi and maxi dresses all in sizes 8-20.
With sustainability at the core of the business, the brand uses certified OEKO-TEX materials, recycled packaging that is carbon neutral, with the summer collection designed and manufactured in England. The brand’s supply chain is fully sustainable from end-end, with the new range being made in England with a 7 day turnaround. This allows the brand to fulfill much smaller minimum order quantities than fast fashion brands, meaning there’s no waste or stock being sent to landfill.
Tanya Patel says: “I’m thrilled to have launched Chapter.London and its first summer collection. We are on a mission to redefine what fashion can look like in the womenswear sector. We’re size inclusive (size 8-20) in all our ranges and it was really important to me that the summer collection was made here in the UK. We work with some great British suppliers, meaning we can lower our carbon footprint, aren’t sitting on lots of surplus stock and can turnaround new products quickly.
In my previous business, I learnt first hand about how Brexit hugely impacted stock availability and that’s why we’re designing and making everything much closer to home.“
