Herald Celebrates North East Office Launch With Newcastle United Executive Club Membership
Herald has opened an office in Tyneside, reflecting the company’s growing status in the North. The leading supplier of catering packaging disposables celebrated the launch by becoming a member of the Newcastle United Executive Club, following an agreement with sports rights specialists, Eleven Sports Media.
The new office, located in Wallsend, just three miles from Newcastle, will provide a customer service and distribution base for Herald’s growing portfolio of northern-based clients.
With a head office in London, Herald has 30 years of experience delivering eco-friendly quality disposable products to the catering, hospitality and vending industries. The agreement to become a Newcastle United Executive Club member will provide a platform through which to reach a wider customer base in the North East.
As a member, Herald will use Eleven Sports Media’s fan engagement platforms, integrated throughout St. James’ Park, to promote its services and reach new customers watching at home or in the stadium.
The company’s branding will be showcased on digital, crowd-facing displays, targeting the 52,000 fans in the stadium. In concourse and hospitality areas, Herald’s messaging will be positioned alongside engaging match-related video content and live stats.
Beyond the stadium, Herald will see its brand alongside Eleven Sports Media’s live social media StatZone content, which shares match related stats with huge social media audiences.
The opening of Herald’s new North East office is a strategic move, as explained by David Martin, national sales manager:
“We are thrilled to open our office in the North East and to become a member of Newcastle United’s Executive Club. The city is a hub of innovation and industry and, by having a physical presence in the region, we can better serve our clients. We’re also excited to connect with the passionate fanbase of Newcastle United and showcase the Herald brand to a wider audience.”
The partnership also offers Herald the opportunity to develop relationships with other partner organisations. The company will have exclusive access to partner events hosted by Eleven Sports Media, designed to help like-minded businesses grow.
