NormCyber doubles its footprint amid strong growth
Hampshire-based MSSP for the midmarket prepares to double its headcount in 2023
NormCyber, the award-winning managed security service provider for mid-sized organisations, today announced it has doubled its office footprint in preparation for the doubling of its headcount by the end of 2023. The move is underpinned by the company’s continued strong financial performance – achieving over 70 percent compound growth year-on-year in 2022 – and the steady adoption of its cyber security and data protection managed service offering ‘Smartbloc.’ in the mid-market.
As part of its recruitment drive, NormCyber will expand its Security Operations Centre, engineering, penetration testing, sales and marketing, as well as data protection teams based in a brand-new office in Fareham, Hampshire.
New hires will work with a rapidly-diversifying customer portfolio, which includes brands such as Coveris, Fowler Welch and Ferrero, and who award NormCyber an outstanding Net Promoter Score of +51, far above the technology industry average of +35. Following a year that saw NormCyber develop new strategic relationships with Fortinet, CHAS – the UK’s leading provider of compliance and risk management solutions – and the Crown Commercial Service, this customer base is poised for continued steady growth.
“January of this year marked one year since we launched Smartbloc., the most comprehensive managed security service for the midmarket. I’m proud to see it has won the approval of customers, partners and analysts, and will no doubt continue to do so, aided by the efforts of our brilliant team,” said Pete Bowers, COO at NormCyber. “We look to the future with a renewed ambition to grow and a firm commitment to helping our fantastic customers combat evolving cyber threats, pursue new commercial opportunities, and navigate tightening regulations.”
