Care Home Offers Renewing Experience
When Edendale Lodge Care Home welcomed a private client for a week of convalescence they were both pleasantly surprised with the renewing affects it had had.
Could Edendale Lodge be the perfect retirement home for guest Sylvia? Read this review and you’ll see for yourself how enriching a care home environment could be.
‘I had such a wonderfully renewing experience last week. Absolutely just what I so desperately needed. Such wonderful attention to meet my every need. So much kindness, acceptance and willing service. My every need catered for, but much more than that, I was able to simply be myself something I’d lost sight of for many years becoming depressed and stressed and fearful of the future. Gradually over the week I began to let go and relax and just enjoy the realisation that I was acceptable just as I am. I cannot wait to come back. I am already missing the lovingly prepared meals. Take good care of yourself and I hope that very soon I will be back for another visit.’
Zoe Kendall, Manager says: “Spending time living in a care home isn’t necessarily a stress decision. We would really like more people to think of it as a lifestyle decision as in this case. Sylvia just wanted to be in an environment where she felt she could be herself. We are so pleased to have been able to make life a little bit easy attending to Sylvia’s needs and we really hope to see her back soon.”
